Camp Hero is a 415-acre former Cold War listening post with bluff-top trails and 'Radars' surf access. The Walking Dunes at Napeague offer a unique migrating-dune ecosystem. Both are free state-park access points. (Rolling: Year-round — monitor the source for specific dates.)
