Hampton Bays
The working-Hamptons village, Ponquogue Beach, and the summer-share house template that shapes the weekend.
Hampton Bays has always had a different cultural register than the villages east of the Shinnecock Canal. The summer-share house scene, Ponquogue Beach, Cowfish on the water, and a year-round population that lives and works here rather than renting by the week. The crowd runs younger and louder than the rest of the East End, which shapes the cannabis conversation toward group-house rhythms for adults 21+, THC seltzers at the beach house, low-dose edibles before the late-night dinner, and a short drive to the nearest licensed dispensary. Private-property consumption framing still governs the whole thing.
