North Haven
The peninsula between Sag Harbor and the Shelter Island ferry, quiet by design, and a stop most weekenders drive straight through.
North Haven is the narrow peninsula just north of Sag Harbor, connected to the village by a bridge and to Shelter Island by the South Ferry. Mostly residential, a few bayfront beaches, and the ferry queue that pulses with each boat crossing. The village is a drive-through for weekenders heading to Shelter Island and a quiet home base for the people who live here year-round. For adults 21+ staying in one of the North Haven rentals, the cannabis-aware pattern is private-deck, sunset-over-the-bay, and a short drive into Sag Harbor for dinner. Licensed dispensaries across the East End are within a 15–30 minute drive.
